Assistant to Managing Directors Investment Banking DACH & Junior Team
This is a position for a motivated and committed Assistant with outstanding organizational and people skills, who is used to work in a dynamic environment.
While passionate about performing administrative duties, you provide comprehensive support to key members of the Frankfurt office. De facto no two days will be the same. Main tasks consist of full-scale diary management, organizing overseas travel across different time zones (including detailed itineraries), planning meetings, calls, and conferences – ensuring that all activities run smoothly and full back office support is guaranteed. Likewise, you provide administrative support on projects, produce documentation and professional presentations, to help secure new business transactions. Besides collecting and researching information, compiling spreadsheets reports and expenses, it is important to keep aware of the big picture. You also enjoy assisting on ad-hoc tasks and projects as well as on non-work elements. Not least, you ensure that your team is well represented by providing a positive customer experience to all stakeholders. As the role is fast-paced, the function requires someone, who is easily adapting and has the desire to achieve a high standard of quality with any given task. Key requirements: Commercial apprenticeship and/or a Foreign Language Secretary or Management Assistant Degree etc. Your CV reflects experience in a similar role, e.g. in Financial Services, Investment Banking or a similar fast moving international environment. What else is requested? An open-minded, proactive personality with drive and energy, motivated by working for a small team and becoming an integral player. Someone who can partner with and step in for other assistants throughout the firm would perfectly blend in. Since there are duties that cannot be predicted, it is indispensable that you are flexible with a good common sense, always anticipating what is required next. You are a good timekeeper and pride yourself on accurate proof-reading. The mandatory languages are German and English. IT-skills (MS-Office) including knowledge of internet and multimedia devices are essential. You are used to working independently, applying your excellent time management skills and tackle any changes made on short notice with a positive approach. Likewise, you have a talent for handling competing priorities with good follow-through skills and attention to detail. You perfectly fit if you enjoy being challenged, are fun to work and have a positive-can do attitude.
